Even though the calendar shows it will be springtime for the next few months, the temperature will soon make us feel like it is summer already! With the hot weather comes the opening of pool season.
There are many requirements for pool safety, including the need to have a public pool enclosed in a protected area with specific gate latching devices. A neighborhood pool will want to have an easy way to provide access to resident members while meeting all of the safety requirements. A cloud-based access control system is a perfect tool for this. Now the most efficient is a phone-based mobile pass. Instead of having to issue physical cards every year, or track down old cards when people move or cancel their membership, mobile passes are quick and easy. The credential is sent to the member’s email and is added to an app on their phone. Then with just a click of the button the pool gate opens and summer fun begins! Passes can easily be revoked as needed.
Schedules can be created so access is only available during pool hours and pool season. Access levels can also be created. Vendors or administrators can have access 24/7 year-round while swim team members might only need access during the competition season.
